Specializing in treatment of the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand.

Kisner McGraw Hand to Should Rehabilitation is the only facility in the Morgantown area that specializes in one-on-one customized therapy for comprehensive treatment of the entire arm, from fingers to shoulders.

Unlike other larger clinics, treatment will always be administered in a calm, personal environment by a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) rather than an assistant or aide. A Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) is an occupational therapist or physical therapist who has a minimum of five years of clinical experience, including 4,000 hours or more of direct practice in hand therapy, In addition, the Certified Hand Therapist has successfully passed a comprehensive test of advanced clinical skills and theory in upper quarter rehabilitation. Because of changes in the profession, every CHT is required to demonstrate continued professional development and competency through recertification every five years.

Treatment is custom designed to fit each individual person's needs. We know that treatment must be meaningful to the person while being appropriate to the diagnosis. Your CHT will remain in close contact with your doctor to ensure sufficient and timely treatment with an emphasis on achieving functional recovery.

At Kisner McGraw Hand to Shoulder Rehabilitation we realize that your hands and upper extremities make you who you are and that even a small injury or deformity can impact the way you live your life. Through conservative management or post-operative care we strive to maximize the ease, comfort, and efficiency with which you perform daily tasks and return to your life and work as quickly as possible. Through a multidisciplinary team approach to treatment, our patients receive outstanding continuity of care and optimal outcomes. Our highly skilled certified occupational therapists have extensive training and expertise enabling them to design individualized therapy plans to help our patients reduce the risk of re-injury and restore function in the shortest period of time possible – in a cost-effective manner.
